This short GONG jacket in 2 mm neoprene offers protection against the cold and wind, on the water and on land.
Introduction:
Made from very flexible 2mm neoprene, this zipped hooded jacket offers you additional thermal insulation to make sessions last and boost motivation.
Versatile, it is as effective as an oversuit to keep you warm while sailing as it is as a sportswear jacket for your activities on land.
The wind can radically cool you down and shorten your SUP, kite or wing sessions. This jacket offers a very useful 2 mm of extra thermal insulation, making you benefit from a windproof effect on colder days.
Perfect for board sports, it is also great for boating. You won’t fear bad conditions anymore, and will remain mobile as in a wetsuit. It is essential on a jet-ski for a towing session for example. If you fall in the water, you swim without difficulty and it dries quickly while returning heat even during drying. This is the big plus of neoprene.
The cut is rather fitted so as not to flap in the wind, and the neoprene is very flexible to offer complete freedom of movement.
The hood is adjustable to cover your face as close as possible and to possibly replace the wearing of a separate neoprene hood. You are well sheltered and your head stays warm. It can be removed in a second, so it remains more practical than a hood for multi-purpose use.
The two zipped pockets keep your hands warm.
The high-end YKK zipper is integral to easily put on this jacket and wear it open if necessary. You can even add it to your wardrobe for everyday use ?
A technical smooth neoprene lining integrated over the last 5 centimeters at the bottom of the jacket helps limit unwanted rise of the jacket. It also limits the entry of water by projection, in the same way as the Velcro tightening systems on the wrists.
In the event of immersion, release systems integrated into the trunk, hood and pockets allow water to flow freely to keep you as dry as possible and remain light.
