NEWS: EUROPEAN JUNIOR CHAMPION AND VICE-CHAMPION!

The European SUP Surfing Championship in Denmark ended with two great results for GONG!

Firstly, Titouan Pajot, freshly arrived in the team, distinguished himself by finishing on the second step of the podium in the Junior category! He managed to reach the final in the tricky Danish conditions on his production Alley FSP Pro model. Big congrats to Titouan for his result and state of mind when reflecting on the event:

“I’m very happy. I felt good because I was physically prepared. Technically, I haven’t been SUPing long enough to claim anything better. I made some errors, especially not surfing better on the rail. But I gave my best. It’s very encouraging and the coach’s advice will help me for the future.” Titouan.

A second big up for Tiphaine Maillard who wins the title in the junior category for the women! Also equipped with an Alley FSP Pro, she celebrates this result by humbly saluting the decisive role of her team on the beach:

“I am very happy and also very surprised! The waves were hard to surf.

Huge congratulations to the riders and the Gong team! These results are obviously proof of good riders on good shapes.
Although I wonder why they took the Alley model and not the Mob or Fatal, which looked way more suitable to the soft and low waves. On the videos all suppers were really pumping and paddling hard because most boards were small narrow banana shapes in soft waves.
