HOW TO : INFLATE YOUR KITE !!!

Inflating your Kite is a process that should not be taken lightly.

The first step is to unroll your Kite with its back to the wind with the Struts to the sky. Then simply open the Inflation Valve making sure the base is tightened down to prevent air loss.

The second step is Inflation. Make sure the Struts tube clamps are fully open as most Kites have the “one-pump” system that inflates the Leading Edge as well as the Struts at the same time. If all Stuts are open, you can proceed with the inflation. Place the Leash of the Pump on the Leash Plug, which is provided for this purpose, located in the middle of the Leading Edge. Once the Leash is attached, insert the correct tip and start pumping.

The Kite should be inflated between 8 and 9 PSI. It is necessary that the Kite is well inflated to fly correctly, that it is firm and resonates when you flick it with your finger. But do not overinflate, otherwise it will explode! Beware of Manometers (pressure gauges) that often only measure the pressure between the Pump and the Kite, a pressure that can be easily false.

At the end of inflation, remove the tip of the Pump while holding your Kite and close the Inflation Valve by screwing it all the way down and covering it with the cover provided with a Velcro to ensure a strong hold.

Flip your Kite arch of the Leading Edge against the ground and put sand on it to prevent it from taking off. Imperative.
