A closer look at the technology that allows us to offer boards that perform just as well as rigid ones!

We are now able to offer you wave-riding or freestyle boards such as our Lethal and Stunt FSP Pro in full inflatable technology, thanks to the considerable and totally unique experience on the market resulting from the phenomenal success of the HIPE.

At the origin of this concept—widely imitated but never equaled—GONG has turned a well-thought-out product into solutions tailored to specific wing foiling practices, including the most radical ones.

Woven Dropstitch double-layer technology with reinforced rails.

One of the secrets to the performance of our inflatable boards lies in the double-layer welded Woven Dropstitch technology. This process allows for considerable pressure, ensuring total rigidity of your board. On these compact shapes, ranging from 4’6 to 5’6, there is no noticeable difference in stiffness compared to a full sandwich technology board. We match the rigidity while maintaining a weight that is just as contained as your classic board. This is crucial because performance on the water in wing foiling is a combination of dynamism and lightness.

An ICS plate that ensures top-level dynamism

Our inflatable boards feature the ICS (Inflatable Carbon Synthesis) plate, which adds extra rigidity to our inflatable technology for optimal control underfoot. This integrated carbon plate helps maintain a stable and dynamic structure, providing unmatched responsiveness during maneuvers, even at high speeds or on landings. Thanks to this technology, your footing is more solid and precise, making every turn and jump perfectly controlled.

A jewel of composite know-how, in full prepreg with high-density foam stringers, the plate is securely bonded underneath the inflatable structure. It covers the entire stance between the rider’s feet. The mechanical forces are perfectly transmitted to the foil, yet it remains short enough to allow the board to be stored in a backpack. This way, you can enjoy all the advantages of an inflatable board without compromising your riding experience.
