An overview of the development of the Perf Series and Team Series wings, differentiated by their construction and innovations.

The Perf Series wings are our benchmark wings for the programs outlined in the table below. This range is defined by:
- a traditional Dacron construction for the inflatable structure, compared to the use of more advanced materials like UPE Aramid or UPE Aramid X in the Team Series wings.
- innovations in shapes, technology, assembly, and equipment, derived from the developments tested and approved on our Team Series wings. While the Team Series wings are updated with each performance leap made by our R&D, the Perf Series wings incorporate these changes with each new collection release.
The Team Series wings are identical to those used by our Pro Team in competition. We currently have 5 World Champions in Wing Foil across different disciplines in the team, providing valuable feedback for the development of our wings, which you benefit from in the evolutions of our Perf and Team Series wings.

Materials that make the difference!
The Team Series wings are favored by experienced riders as they lead the way in shape advancements, as well as being built with innovative materials like UPE Aramid or UPE Aramid X, providing more rigidity, lighter weight, and improved resistance.
- What is a wing made with UPE Aramid?
These wings feature an inflatable structure (leading edge and central strut) assembled with UPE Aramid. This provides greater stiffness and resistance, enabling smaller section diameters in the structure. The result is a wing that is not only more performant in flight but also lighter, with very precise control thanks to the overall rigidity. Find out all about this material in the article.
- What is a wing made with UPE Aramid X?
These are UPE Aramid wings that also use Code-X Ripstop fabric for the canopy, replacing the triple ripstop sailcloth. Code-X Ripstop is more resistant and stiffer, which translates into more power and enhanced maneuverability on the water.
With 81 g/m², versus the usual 56 g/m², the weight gain is minimal and easily offset by the improved rigidity of the Aramid X. Last but not least, the Code-X Ripstop fabric provides enhanced durability for your wing.

UPE Aramid or UPE Aramid X?
Compared to UPE Aramid, a wing made with UPE Aramid X gains in power and stiffness. The difference is noticeable in the hands, to the point that it may feel less forgiving and less smooth for some. The feeling is very similar to windsurfing, where using a harness is recommended, if not essential.

Choosing between a Perf Series or Team Series wing?
The Team Series wings offer the highest level of performance, but the Perf Series wings are also up to the task. The Perf Series range includes the key innovations tested on the Team Series wings, resulting in outstanding performance:
- which exceed the expectations of beginners and freeriders, with, for example, the Plus Perf Series, allowing for long-term progression;
- and they perfectly meet the needs of more experienced riders, with, for example, the Neutra Perf Series for waves or the Droid Perf Series for freestyle.
Price is also a key factor when building a quiver that covers all conditions and preferences. Offering wings at the most affordable price possible is one of the core reasons for the Perf Series range. For the same budget, the Perf Series gives you access to a quiver of three wings, compared to two with the Team Series.
Keep in mind that the Perf and Team Series wings are the result of the same development process. The repeated victories at the highest level season after season on the World Tour, in Race, Slalom, Surf, and Freestyle with our Team Series wings, are a testament to the continuous development efforts of our teams to provide the most high-performance equipment. It is this development effort that makes all performances possible, from the most modest to the most ambitious. This level of performance is placed directly in your hands with the Team Series wings, while the Perf Series wings also benefit from these successes.
The decision is yours!
