New features of the 2025 Team Series wings: Shape evolutions, upgraded equipment, and a new Aramid CZ technology.
Our 2025 wings take the sport to the next level, reflecting the maturity it has now reached. The 2024 models had already raised the bar for versatility and performance, securing multiple wins across two World Tours requiring a wide range of skills, from Wave to FreeFly-Slalom. The 2025 lineup pushes innovation to the next level, featuring refined shapes and equipment upgrades that enhance our core concepts, along with new materials like the Code Zero canopy and advanced solutions such as the 3+6 battens on the Pulse Race.

New features of the 2025 Team Series wings
In a sport that has reached a certain maturity, the rules are clear, programs are well-defined, expectations are precise. GONG meets this demand with research and development focused on refinement and precision, rather than drastic changes. The 2025 wings don't reinvent the concept, they perfect it:
- Re-segmentation of the leading edge for better reactivity and comfort.
- A strut refined by 5% in its central part to optimize this critical zone for the wing's performance.
- Evolution of the Neutra outline with rearward tips and an increased aspect ratio.
- New Code Zero spinnaker with unparalleled rigidity.
- Triple battens system for the Pulse Race.
- New GFS system to attach the boom.
- New EVA foam elbow on the boom to protect your board.

The leading edge has undergone meticulous re-segmentation, as shown in the illustration below for a Droid Aramid, with 4 additional segments that completely transform the way wings behave in navigation.
- Increased responsiveness: The wing is more reactive, more agile, and responds instantly to your commands, whether for quick transitions or precise maneuvers.
- Perfect balance between rigidity and flexibility: A stiffer core ensures excellent power delivery and unwavering stability.
- Softer tips with reduced surface area enable the wing to breathe, offering perfect tolerance and delivering a smoother, more intuitive ride.
- Gentle feel in hand: The smoother, rounded leading edge provides a sense of lightness in the grip, making each session more enjoyable, reducing fatigue, and enhancing comfort, even in challenging conditions.
In short, this evolution goes beyond enhancing raw performance. It makes the wing incredibly fun to handle, with more spin and a feeling of complete control.

- Evolution of the Neutra outline
Alongside the re-segmentation work, the leading edge has been curved backward to decrease the surface at the tips and to refocus the wing's power. This gives the wing a much lighter feel and accelerates rotation in maneuvers and tricks.
The wingspan also plays a key role in the stability, upwind performance, and glide that are essential for a wave riding wing like the Neutra.
- Reduced central strut diameter
The central strut diameter has been reduced by 5% on the Droid and 4% on the Neutra. This reduction, while keeping the required rigidity for precise wing control, offers a significant gain in airflow efficiency at this critical zone, which holds most of the power and is key to the wing's performance. Optimizing this area was a key focus for this new range.

- Complete battens system of the Pulse Race Aramid CZ
The complete battens system of the 2025 Pulse Race Aramid CZ enhances its performance with three key technologies. Structural battens, stretched from the leading edge to the trailing edge, stabilize the profile, ensuring a locked and precise shape. Battens integrated into the tips reinforce their rigidity and increase the tension on the trailing edge, maximizing the wing's efficiency at high speeds. Lastly, anti-vibration battens minimize flapping, guaranteeing a smooth glide and exceptional comfort. This advanced batten system gives the Pulse unparalleled stiffness and precision, ideal for pushing your limits.
- Introducing Code Zero spinnaker
Code Zero is the most rigid canopy fabric we’ve ever used. Its mechanical characteristics are simply unmatched by anything else on the market. This material was specifically designed to overcome the issues of traditional spinnakers, which tend to be too elastic. Thanks to its X-Ply structure that provides incredible rigidity, it results in an extremely stiff wing that channels all the power for top-level performance.
On the water, this results in explosive acceleration that shoots you to Mach 12 in an instant and takes you to extreme heights in jumps. For those chasing ultimate performance, this will be the holy grail.
At 75gr/m2, the Code Zero is lighter than the Code X while displaying exceptional rigidity and strength. It offers a totally new sensation, with a fabric that stays in place like a windsurf sail, but with the lightweight feel of a wing. It’s incredibly powerful.
Its ability to transmit maximum power makes it the ideal option for the new Pulse Race Aramid CZ and Droid SP Aramid CZ. The first is designed for racing, while the second excels in powerful jumps, surfing, and slalom, delivering the power of a SuperPower in the highly versatile shape of a Droid.

- New GFS system
In 2025, we are improving our GFS system to enhance its performance. The new geometries of the supports and elbows result in significant upgrades:
- Still no play, but a firmer and more direct contact for better control of your wing.
- The boom support has five times more contact surface: rigidity +++.
- 150 grams lighter for a set of handles and 40 grams saved on a boom.
- Even easier and faster assembly, still using your Torx 30 foil key.
- A sleek and technical unified look.
And everything is perfectly compatible with the GFS V1 system. Your current boom is fully adaptable to a 2025 wing without the need to purchase new parts. A 2025 boom will be fully compatible with the 2023-2024 wings when using the handle support V2.
Additionally, there’s a new EVA coating on the boom that now covers the front elbow of your boom (with a rubber bumper protecting the screw hole), designed to protect your board from rough contacts.
