Meet the young hawaiian joining forces with GONG in 2026.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?
I’m 18 years old. Born and raised on Maui. I live for it everyday!
When and how did you get into board sports?
Growing up on Maui I've always been around board sports. My family was at the beach all the time and I was boogie boarding and surfing very early. My first windsport was windsurfing, I learned on an old inflatable windsurfer at 13 during the COVID shutdown.
Where were you born and what place do you call your home spot?
I was born on Maui. My home spot is Ho'okipa.
How are sessions like over there?
Ho'okipa can be super easy all the way to life threatening. It’s pretty intense. Which makes it a dream spot. Besides, on Maui I can be on the water doing one kind of water sport pretty much every day.
How does a perfect day on the water look like for you?
Wing foiling in 25 knots side offshore Hookipa with 6-10ft (2-3m) waves.
What's the gnarliest session you ever had ?
Outer Sprecks surfing on my 9'4" gun on a huge day with 30ft faces (10m). It was super dumpy and violent with really long hold downs.
Who's your biggest influence in the sport?
When I was 10 I was in school with Robby Naish's daughter and Robby was around a lot. People were talking about him and I started watching YouTube videos of him doing all the water sports and riding all over the world. Also being on Maui I'm surrounded by some of the best watermen and waterwomen in the world. They all inspire me a lot.
What are your goals for this year?
Travel the world, keep pushing the limits in wing foiling and get killer footage of all the watersports GONG provides gear for.
What’s your goal in competition?
I'm not competition oriented, I rather travel the world to follow the best conditions at the best spots and help people dream!
What tricks are you working on?
Huge front off the lip.
Do you workout or crosstrain?
I workout often at my local gym. I also do underwater breath hold training like rock running.
Any big injuries?
I'm grateful that my biggest injury is a sprained ankle and reef cuts.
What motivated you to join the GONG team?
I love their vision and their core values. Plus the gear is amazing.
Which GONG gear are you most excited about?
Where to start? I'm excited about all of it!
What’s your next trip or competition?
Not sure yet where my next trip will be but wherever it is it will be very special.
