Some news from our ambassador Julian who lined up on brand new Wing foiling gear for the start of the Engie Kite Tour which took place last weekend in Lorient.
Equipped with his Lethal FSP Pro 4'4 and a foil set-up made of the HM107 mast, Ypra-S S 600 and Veloce H36 stab, Julian took the start of wing foiling races with brand new Droid 4 and 5m UPE Aramid he had just received. The first tests therefore took place directly in the heat of the action.
His two Droid wings allowed him to make “a considerable difference on the upwind reaches” he told us. Opposed to strong opponents, he once again demonstrates the versatility and enormous potential of these wings.
Over the 12 races, including 2 long distances races, 5 slalom races and 5 upwind races, Julian achieved excellent results with 1st and 2nd places.
He finished tied for second overall, and tied for first in Junior, when counting this event only. Congratulations Julian!
