TEAM NEWS: FIRST ROUNDS OF THE WING AND KITE EVENT IN MOROCCO

The best waveriders in wing foiling and kitesurfing have gathered this week in Morocco!
The action kicked off this Sunday on Morocco's right-hand wave, which draws wave riding enthusiasts to the Dakhla region every year. On this point break, just a few kilometers from the famous lagoon, the competition began under fairly modest conditions, with set waves no higher than one meter. The kitesurfers were the first to start throwing turns, but inconsistent conditions brought the action to a halt midway through round 1, before our team rider Airton Cozzolino could even get into the competition.
When the conditions are inconsistent, wing foilers take center stage, as their gear allows for better adaptation to tricky winds. The favorites performed well in these conditions, with Cash scoring a solid 16.10 in the small waves of the day, only to be outdone a few heats later by his main rival, Malo, who posted a 16.80, the best score of round 1. The stage is set between the favorites, and we can't wait to see what's next!
