L’Ours tells us his feeling about a recent session he had:
“I spent hours in the shaping room and I decided to go for a surf break, alon as usual because my friends have a “real” job 😉 I had some nice tiny waves on my 9’6 longboard, then few of them on my 9’1 SUP and I started to have a look at jellyfishes. From one to the other, i cuised all along the beach, surfing few waves sometime.
I was close to the first cave so I went in to refresh myself and listen the sound of waves inside the rocky room, sound very like the sound in long barrels. Then I wanted to to go to have a look at the castle. Then the next cave… From one to another, I paddled a long time and finished in a bay that i didn’t know. I paddled that bay to. I went to a part of the coast that I never seen before.
I entered a wonderful cliff circus, alone with the birds, visiting the caves, on glassy water, with the sunlight on the whites rocks…
I paddled to the sunset without any goal, just wanted to see what’s next. I came into a little savage rocky bay to look at the sun down in the ocean. Then I decided to come back home. The night was coming and I just had to paddle to the North mountain in the dark. On each bay, the night off shore wind was blowing few knots, changing my paddling frequency. At each point, it was glassy and the board accelerates.
I arrived in the dark. I packed my boards, went home through the mountains, uploaded photos on my laptop, and started to tchat with friends on the forum.
A regular day for a bear, isn’t it !!!
