NEWS : TWO NEW SIZES OF THE CRUZADER !!!

- Wing

The Cruzader FSP Pro is now available for pre-sale in two additional sizes! New XL versions of the 7’0 and 7’6 are now available for this atypical shape which covers very specific conditions but ultimately so common on our spots.

Downwind, pumping, SUP foiling or wing foiling, it’s literally a 4-in-1 board for boardsports fans who want to maximize their free time. A board designed for athletic riders which is now open to big riders and offers more ease to average builds with the 7’0 XL and 7’6 XL models.
- Downwinds are obviously the heart of its program. It’s optimized for taking off and flying in the distance. It’s a demanding shape with no concession on performance.
- Pumping on the flat or on bumps is quite a technical challenge at first but most figure it out pretty quickly. And it’s super addicting. Especially because dock starts and SUP rides can save the day when conditions are terrible. Such sessions are a great deal of laughter with friends and a fun challenge.
- SUP foiling, we do not break the range because it remains SUP foiling as we know it. The only difference is that we take off suuuuuper early. It’s obviously not the board to send an Air 360, but in a “longboard” approach the Cruzader is fantastic. After all, who dreams of sending Air 360s on a SUPfoil board? Most of us dream of endless waves being caught easily. This is the program of the Cruz!!!
- And in wing foiling, Malo showcases what’s possible by landing backflips in 6 knots. For that he has to take off very early and according to him, no board can beat the performance of the Cruzader in early takeoffs. This is the board that will make you fly before everyone else does and that will allow you to downsize your wing.
No need to stress about its narrow width, here’s the drill:
- The XL models are “easy” in SUP and suuuper easy for wing foiling.
- The classic sizes are a challenge in SUP: take a volume and a length to your size because the board is made to tilt back and forth in order to start pumping before it even flies. The see-saw effect is necessary to “pre-fly” but if your board is too short or lacks volume, each paddling stroke will cause it to dive underwater. A 7’6 for a very experienced SUP rider of 100kg is ok.
- It’s very simple in wing foiling. Even the smallest size is easy for L’Ours. No concern for lateral stability when wing foiling.
The Cruzader is a pure Pro board, and the XL version is accessible to everyone. You will even be surprised to have your legs trembling on your NFA 9′ when switching from the Cruz 7’6 as the added balance of the foil changes everything. The worst thing to cope with is the backwash that works the mast near the beach, so in these sessions, aim for the open sea and the balance will be easy.
One thing’s for certain, as the first users of the Cruzader have shown, there’s a high risk of dependence on its specific qualities! 😉 A demanding shape at first but quickly very stimulating in marginal wave or wind conditions. The kind of board that becomes a favorite for the unexpected sessions that it allows to score.
