NEWS: THE EVENT IS ON IN BRAZIL!

The last event of the 2023 wing foil tour is about to start in Brazil with still one title on the line in Freefly Slalom !

The GONG team is currently in Cauipe for the final stop of the GWA world tour event for Surf Freestyle and Freefly Slalom. They arrived a few days ago to prepare for the conditions. Today’s plan includes starting with Surf-Freestyle, featuring 2 waves and 2 tricks, contributing to a total score out of 40. In the men’s category, Malo, Bastien, and Clement have advanced to round 3, while Max aims to prove himself in the qualifying rounds. Among the women, Sofia, ranked 4th globally, will compete in the 3rd heat of the day.

Conditions are favorable, with 20 knots of onshore wind and set waves just overhead high. Conditions familiar to the GONG team these last few weeks on their home spot. The team is eager to compete and looks forward to the start of the competition.
