NEWS: DOWN THE RIVER!
The junction with the Atlantic Ocean was made this weekend by the Loire Paddle team, which had set the goal of paddling down the Loire on SUPs over 800km!
Congratulations to Gilles, Tanguy and Julien for this two-week journey, facing very hot weather on their Couine Marie Cruising boards. Here is their reaction to the conclusion of the trip.
”This is the end of the adventure for the Loire Paddle team! After many difficult situations and unforeseen events, we managed to paddle down the Loire on Stand Up Paddle boards. ??.
This last leg was tough with complicated conditions and a difficult Loire to navigate, not to mention a finish in the Paimboeuf mud?. We are very proud of this journey which will have lasted 2 weeks. ?.
Thanks again to GONG Galaxy for the quality equipment that has withstood all conditions ? and allowed us to move forward with comfort and performance. Next, a well-deserved rest and videos that will retrace our entire adventure!
