Is a quiver of foils essential or can a single foil cover most of your needs? The answer will depend on your level, your spot and especially what you want to achieve.

L’Ours shares his point of view based on a comparison with a surfer’s quiver as suggested by a follower of our Facebook Group GONG Galaxy:

“It’s exactly the same as for the surf boards. A beginner will do everything with an easy board whereas a professional surfer may have 80 boards a year. So the truth for everyone lies between those two extremes.

The first point is to know if you only do one sport with your foil, if so only one front wing can be enough.
The second is to know if you only go to one spot, in this case too, one foil could be enough.
