NEWS: CANDLEMAS AT THE SLAB

The chef of Slab celebrates an emblematic specialty of Brittany on the occasion of Candlemas.

 

The sweet wheat pancakes, enriched with salted butter caramel or chocolate, automatically transport you to the heart of the ancestral traditions of our region and the after-session habits of many local surfers! Prepared in just a few minutes, getting together around a crepe is a moment of celebration, whatever the day of the year. The ingredients can be found in every cupboard in the country, or in the nearest grocery store. Recipes are an open subject for discussion, everyone comes up with its own dose of ingredients. For his pancake batter, our assistant chef for 1L of milk:

  • 500 g of flour;
  • 125g of sugar;
  • 3 eggs ;
  • 1 cap of rum flavored with vanilla.
To your crepe makers to imitate it! Or failing that a decent frying pan 😉
