“Hello, A continuation of the measures on our activity: Preamble : we are not surfing on a fun wave following the closure of physical shops. As a result, our promotions no longer talk about commercial offers. We will focus the communications and on educational and entertaining content without pushing consumption. At the time of writing, the measures taken by GONG are: A/ Opening of the online shop: The online shop is working as usual. It will work perfectly throughout the crisis because we can manage it from any connected place. You are free to order or not. B/ Deliveries: Our three major carriers deliver every day : La Poste delivers everywhere (including the USA). DPD delivers like La Poste in France. Geodis delivers all large packages in France (Boards). Note several points: – The priority of transport is obviously medical and food parcels. Our parcels are taken care of only after vital parcels to complete the trucks. And that’s quite normal. So you can receive your parcels late, but don’t worry. – Contact with the carriers is prohibited, including with their tablets!! The signature is done online on your phone. – For deliveries to certain countries that are stopped. We keep the orders that cannot be shipped warm on our premises, ready to go when the outbreak is contained. C/ Closing of the physical shop: Containment reasonably implies not to move for any other reason than food, medical, or professional. We therefore ask you to respect this instruction and to be delivered, even if you live 500m away. Teleworking: Our teams are 90% teleworking in order to protect them and the activity of processing your orders: – The Technical Advisors are 100% available for all your questions from their sofas 😉 – The Com team writes, edits and uploads your favorite contents from a hot bath 😉 – The product guys are all about 3D, Illustrator, Shape 3D, Surfplan, in a corner of their garage 😉 – The little order tracking mice are listening to you on their terraces 😉 In the office: – The (reduced) logistic team prepares all your orders. Employees who have recently travelled are at home and draconian protective measures are in place : do not hurt yourself, wash your hands, do not approach anyone, wear gloves (masks are broken), keep the carriers 5m away and do not discuss, return home at the slightest sign or doubt, no social life (no choice). – Beryl strats and sands, and with a mask as always. – The management team (Diane and I) lead this challenge of coordinating our collaborators In summary: Our activity is clearly slowing down, but that’s not serious considering the dramatic consequences this virus can cause.
