HOW TO : WING FOIL take-off !!!

Hello, So you know how to get down the line in low wind as if you were Windsurfing. You got the Wing mastered. Now it’s time to take off. You should have taken the time to put a foil under your board Find an area with at least 30cm depth in addition to the depth of your foil. Place the intrados of the Wing towards the water. Keep the wing at 90° to the wind by using the handle furthest from your direction. Keep the Board against the Wing, and place the Wing leash on the Board. Get on the Board on your knees and stabilize yourself. Once stable, lift the Wing by one of the first central Handles. With Wing raised, you can orient the Board with the support of the wind. Stay steady and gently move the Wing over you, and move your hands back towards the flying handles. Keep both hands in the wind axis, the line that joins your two hands is in the axis of the wind to keep the Wing flat above you. Pull it in a little with the back hand so you can move your front foot forward and flat. Another tug to move the back foot: you are standing. Pass the axis of your hands 30 degrees above the horizon to get the Wing more vertical in front of you. Pump gently to create traction and push on the Foil. Let the Foil accelerate a few meters and make it fly by dosing your weight. There you go Wingfoiler : l’Ours and his GONG Wingfoil board Zuma Iguana Made In La France & GONG SUPfoil Allvator, and GONG Wing 7m.

Hi

I’m interested in the wing foil board that’s in the video. Can you tell me if they in production yet as I’m looking for a board and foil setup as the one in the video has two front straps.

Many thanks
Matt
