HOW TO: TAKE OFF WITH A SURF FOIL
To perform a take-off that places you directly on the shoulder of the wave, you need a good position in front of the breaking point of the wave.
This point is easily found on a reef break where the wave rises tirelessly on the same rocks. So this should be your position, if the depth allows it.
