HOW TO : switch your paddle !!!

When cruising, we paddle by alternating, a couple stories on each side, in order to progress and keep the line straight.
When Surfing, we change hands quite often, in fact it is very preferable ; from a point of view esthetic as well as for direction quality and also to Surf with the Paddle between you and the wave. During a Cutback for example, you are forced to in order to applicate the move.
Hints : – Don’t keep your hands to far apart on the shaft. – Be careful catching wind in the Blade when switching hands. – Keep your Paddle out of the water so it doesn’t get caught up. – Changes hands starting with the low one first. The closer to the center of the Paddles center of gravity the faster the switch. – After changing slide your hand up the shaft to the handle, keeping full contact with the handle and feeling your palm grip the handle without having to look.
