HOW TO : nose slide 360 helicopter double switch by l'Ours !!!
This move combines some simple tricks: a nose ride, a slide, a 360 helicopter, two switch stance.
Of course, all of these tricks are sequenced to make to global move happen. But the most important is why you choose to do it. On this particular wave, the only other logical choice was a cut back. The nose slide 360 helicopter double switch is the solution to create a surprising move in your surf. Technicaly, it is a way to wait the most powerful section.
But be carefull, doing tricks is easy but doing them in a perfect surf sens is the key and way much harder. For example, doing this move without finishing it in the white water needs many hours of training… and that’s why you need to do a nose slide first: to keep a down the line trajectory and avoid a white water finish.
The add of two switch stance on this move is not just to make it brillant, it serves your surf! Actually, these switch stance are made in the same rotation sens than the 360 (the opposite would be a varial for example). So these switch permit you to double your rotation speed compared to the board’s rotation speed. So the consequency is you make energy and when the board finish the 360, you have a lot of energy to give it. It permits you to go super fast on the next maneuver. Usually a classic 360 helicopter gives a finish quite slow and passive. This switch solution is really more powerful and fast for your surf!
Why two switch instead of one? just to finish front side, not blind.
Anyway take care to do tricks that make a sens, your surf.
