To go in the water, some rules are very useful.
– never go where there is a shorebreak.
– to things with method.
– don’t hesitate to ask for help to other SUPers.
– never go on rocky spots or wear botties.
– put the board in the water face to the waves and put the paddle on the board. Be careful to have them strongly in your hands.
– jump on the board only if there is enough water for your fins and to fall with safety. Never on shallow water.
– stand on your knees with the paddle at 90° with the board. The paddle will help your balance by stopping the board’s moves.
– put your hand opened on the shaft.
– stand up on your feet and hands. Put your feet forward, under your body.
– always keep one feet on each side of the board, no surf attitude.
– stand up with the paddle in your two hands.
– look far and put all the blade in the water.
– strenght your up arm to increase your power and balance.
– paddle from the nose to your feet, never backward.
