GEAR: THE (R)EVOLUTION OF OUR WING RANGE!

Don’t be fooled by their familiar colors, the Perf Series wings, which represent our 2024 range in Dacron construction, display major developments in terms of shape, assembly and equipment!

The new Plus, Droid and Neutra unveiled just a few weeks ago under the Perf Series collection benefit from a colossal development work which has allowed us to clinch world titles across all disciplines, Surf-Freestyle, Race and Big Air. The know-how of our product division and the talent of our Pro team have perfectly come together to produce Team Series and Perf Series collections with an unprecedented level of performance. The key elements of this development are presented below.

New shapes on all the wings

A variation of shape can be discreet or obvious like on the Droid, but the effects on the water are cut and dry. More performance, speed, dynamism and control, it’s an incredible elevation in performance that the new shapes, which we tell you all about in this article, have made possible to achieve.

New gripping system

The Plus, Droid and Neutra of the Perf Series are equipped with our modular handle system with textile handles as standard for their tolerance, their lightness, their non-aggressive material and their affordable price.

A patented GONG innovation at the service of your sensations. Adapt your wing to your level, to your feelings, and even to the type of session you wanna have because nothing prevents you from mounting the rigid handles for freestyle, the boom for speed runs and the textile handles for freefly rides.

New assembly

The canopy tensions are perfect. The twist of the tips is calibrated for each program. The power / control balance is cleverly set. Among many new features specific to each wing, we find for the entire collection:

A distribution of the segmentation of the leading edge which is very regular and always with its short section in the center which makes the wing very stiff. This regularity offers a perfect control of the deformation which applies crescendo going towards the tips. The central part of the wing pulls and the tips absorb the gusts. The control is total.
The canopy is very tight for precise sailing without any lag time. We have a very firm wing in our hands, like a windsurf sail.
We still have the central Z batten shape, which is both super rigid and ergonomic, which controls the deformation of the leech. This shape coupled with our revolutionary modular handle system has no equivalent on the market.
New oval seams on the DW handles that better distribute the forces on the leading edge, always with a view to product durability.
Accessory placement is optimized to make the Wing ever more ergonomic / durable / aesthetic.
