During this Sustainability Week, it’s worth remembering that the packaging protecting your hard boards all the way to your doorstep is made from 100% recycled cardboard and paper! We stopped using bubble wrap and tape for this type of delivery back in 2018, replacing them with this far more sustainable solution. GONG willingly absorbs the additional cost, considering the huge amount of plastic waste that would otherwise be generated by shipping the thousands of boards we sell every year.
As a bonus, this packaging can be reused to protect your gear on surf trips!
A reusable solution
To avoid any nasty surprises when you arrive at your destination, we strongly recommend protecting your board with Flexi-Hex, which provides full coverage for the rails, deck, nose and tail. Simply slide your board into the Flexi-Hex, put everything into a good board bag, and go!
