GEAR : new kiteboard line 2018 !!!

Here is a visual for you with the New GONG KiteBoard Range. 12 Shapes for 6 different uses. Two Retro Boards : Coming from solid roots are two Shapes that deliver and insure pure fun even in the most marginal of conditions. – The Matata 5’2 and 5’6 : With a deeper concave, and wider rounded nose, that are much closer to the original. A board that remains the Queen of the light wind and that will Boost your capabilities when carving and Rail to Rail. The nose being slightly rounder giving your front foot more room which helps out with tricks and also with upwind. – The Pie 5’2 and 5’6 : Almost equal to the Surf model with slightly less thickness and with FCS II Boxes. Mounted in twin with a heavy V, this Board will remain extremely maneuverable and plane easily in light wind. Compared to the Matata its swallow tail will allow you to carve a bit deeper, allowing you to tighten them up considerably. On the other hand we do like to surf her loosely allowing her to live, let’s not forget her roots. She’s a surf board through and through so she knows exactly what she’s doing. Two Freestyle Boards : Wide for quick planing and maximum pop. – The Catch 5’2 and 5’6 : Our Flat Water Board. Dreaming about a Board that behaves like a TT..?….. well that’s the Catch. She tears it up with her heavy concave and she lands in any direction with her twin tip outline. But her pronounced rocker conserves her maneuverability making her ideal for small waves and pop. – The Fatal 5’2 and 5’6 : Making her debut in our kite line with slightly more width for more pop. Contrary to the Catch the Fatal has a narrow tail with wingers which allow her a much shorter turning radius. Once you’re on her rail you can rear back on her tail and, with little force, change direction at will. She is the perfect compliment to the Catch for a well formed seascape and obviously for the waves, but also with enough surface to land every trick on the board 😉 Two Surf Boards : – The Alu 5’6 and 5’9 : Remains the uncontested master for On-Shore or Side-On conditions. She reacts to back foot equaling speed and acceleration. She has a perfect upwind but remains hyper maneuverable, and her thinned out nose moves without inertia. She’s basically perfection under duress when thrown into those rough conditions in which we find more often than not. – The Lethal 5’6 and 5’9 : She makes every turn Radical on any wave for any Surfer. You want to search and destroy…?… the Lethal is going to give you that extra push in to the unknown. She IS the one you can count on. These 12 Shapes are new. Hours and hours, days and days, months and months of focus on 12 Shapes that are more perfect than ever. With concern to the Technology, Bamby has made her exit and 2SK has made her grand entrance. 2SK signifies Double Sandwich Kevlar, an upgraded version of the Bamby with high pressure assembly. Super Solid with straps inserts and FCS II Boxes included in the whole range. At the beginning of the year we will be coming out with a few Corknet Boards, in all the shapes and not including inserts and lighter : for strapless lovers. The 2SK will be ready for delivery at the end of the year and on Pre-Sale tonight! Shaper : Patrice Guénolé et ses 12 nouveaux shapes de kite surf. Source : Team GONG Kite, all we do is having fun 😉
