GEAR : new Epoxy line !!!

Hello,
In response to the decline of the euro and gained momentum inflatable boards, we have completely redesigned the range Epoxy.
Indeed, until now the GONG Epoxy boards were 95% oriented beginners. But today everyone agrees (myself included despite my misgivings at first) that begin with inflatable is ideal. So the role of boards for beginners range Epoxy is outdated.
So what ?
Forget this range ? Or drive up performance ?
We chose to orient shapes Epoxy to the post inflatable.
You have passed the beginning, you want a board that works hard without breaking the bank, you want a simple board that works all the time: GONG SUP Epoxy.
What shapes ?
Two shapes were used as bases for new shapes Epoxy: the Empire and the Freak.
The Caribou Empire was lifted for more versatility : more rocker but a spirit 100% Empire : the board that does everything in an atmosphere versatile and easy shortboard. This is quite wide so stable. The marked rocker’s line allows a good maneuverability. It is powerful in the tail to speed right away and have fun in soft waves.
Freak Caribou was transferred into a new Border equipped with a round tail hyper tolerant. Two boards in the soft NFA atmosphere, with ultra generous volumes to increase their range. A 9 ‘and 10’ which take all the sweetness of Freak with total ease.
Finally, the two Sherpa 12’6 benefit from technical improvements retaining their magical shapes.
What equipment ?
First a pad inherited inflatable boards, simply because it is beautiful and it unifies all ranges. This is a very expensive high quality pad, but it’s beautiful.
Then a conventional central handle SUP but as well two handles “turtle” third front. Both handles you know about inflatable make life easier and help to hold the board in the water to pass foams.
Plastics fins, just to lower the price. Everyone is free to move on the fiber if it feels the need.
What technology ?
We changed the factory and worked for a year on this new Epoxy technology. Basically there is no revolution but we decided to make lighter boards.
For this, we changed the foam blanks that are crispy, so harder to equal density. This gain allows us to pass on a 8’8 11kg to 8,8kg. This is huge.
We have not added PVC plate to the bridge to limit deformation under the feet because it’s costing over € 100 and come out the range of its potential audience. There will be traditional breaking down known on this technology as on all monolithic surfboards. But PVC handle reinforcement is there for durability.
Availability ?
Production is underway for a finish in two and half months. Sales are open.
In conclusion :
You have a range of ultra simple boards, 8 years of condensed SUP shapes to the attention of those being progression. All at a great price through targeted compromise.
Thanks.
