New Woven Dropstitch technology

This new Couine Marie range is equipped with Woven Dropstitch technology. These Boards are still equipped with our historical Double Layer PVC technology thermo-welded on the outside, with all its advantages of rigidity and solidity. Nothing better to protect your Board from aggressions. What changes is the Dropstitch itself.

What we call Woven Dropstitch is the heart of the Inflatable Board, which constitutes the inner dynamics of the Board. The Dropstitch threads that give the thickness of the Board are no longer aligned vertically but crossed at different angles, forming oblique struts that are cleverly distributed to balance each other. This concept gives much more rigidity to the whole. In addition, the fibers are spread out instead of being cylindrical. This mesh is therefore tighter and more homogeneous. All this brings much more rigidity using less material. This optimized weave therefore makes it possible to considerably lighten the material, without altering its qualities.

 

New Couine Marie Race Flatwater

A new shape makes its debut, the Couine Marie Flatwater race.

This Board is designed for experienced or high tempo sporty paddlers. Nothing is insurmountable because the width is reasonable and the outline gives a little margin in front of the feet to attack each stroke without restraint. All its shape has been worked to offer you the best possible glide on flat water.

Available in two sizes (12’6 and 14’0) and two widths (27” and 29”).
