GEAR : foilboards Catch 3CS !!!

If you are wanting to get in to the action and start Surfoiling, but you are not sure of what sized Board you need, you need to know that starting out on a ‘bigger’ Board with a minimum of volume will be the key to success for several reasons: – You won’t be getting back out to the peak by pumping, so you will have to paddle back out with a Foil under the Board, so a bit more volume will be an added luxury. – You will need to be well placed, so having a comfortable Board will help you avoid taking off on a slope that’s to dangerous. – Having a ‘fat’ Board like the 5’10 will permit you to get it stabilised before taking off.
