GEAR : feedback on The Alternative 9'3 Moblog EPS !!!

Here’s some feedback on the Moblob Longboard, the Alternative (EPS, 9’3 – 62cm in width) tested out in small summer conditions (4-5 sesh on the surfometer, I’m 70kg without neoprene and 1.81cm): – Board, super light, seriously incredible feather weight considering its volume (tech EPS/Epoxy). – A paddling speed that is also incredible (considering the lightness and a shape). – So you can go fast, getting over the whitewater and escaping the heavier sets when you see them on the horizon are easy as pie, in spite of its weight, and it is very quick to maneuver up the peak or when jockeying for your spot (no pain , no gain!). – I’m just totally discombobulated with the maneuverability off the tail, considering the diamond tails width, which is most likely due to the well pronounced V in the back but doesn’t leave the Board in stable, and I can even stand up on the Board when stopped (if there is no chop). – Once you execute your take-off (formality) you automatically want to start walking around on the deck, which remains reactive. You perceive its lightness but the Shape fully makes itself known. – In short, I think you get the idea, she’s got me by the cojones and I think I found the shoe that fits. – Be careful of dings, obviously this construction is not as heavy duty as the WCKF, but considering the price, there is a price to pay for sensations like this.” Surfeur : Renaud en GONG Surf 9’3 Moblog The Alternative.
