GEAR : feedback 8' NFA XTR !!!

François shares his impressions of the 8 ‘NFA XTR PRO :
“Some might think that I only praise about my boards since the inception of the brand Gong, too, to read some of my posts, I could think of sometimes.
But it’s more that I’ve never cheated on the board that I wanted according to my expectations and sharpened tips from Patrice.
Now it is clear that the shapes are fantastic in relation to other brands and this from the beginning, even if it is true that some current brands are finally starting to get some nice boards … it is time I want say, from the time …
In short, my Gong boards have always been a pleasure to ride for me and it all condtitions, and again, with this NFA 8 ‘PRO XTR, I’m really not disappointed after many sessions … quite the contrary.
The versatile board to make a hang five on the nose or to send pretty maneuvers on the rail in the hollow or soft, the choice of the spot and the wave of the day !
What I love is the rocker spoken, even if it seems almost invisible for neophytes in the first sight..disabuse you, it’s definitely there, and thanks to it, the take off incurred or skating closer to the pocket of the wave (curl) are almost a formality !
The board hand sooooo easily in soft waves and glide is there !
Back foot pads and tail, the board took the rail to go kick the beautiful lip that is offered to you to switch back and reboot the second … … and so on !
Without the fuss, the NFA takes the chop without problem when waiting, comfortable and fast enough to the train for its size.
To switch mosses, again, it goes with ease, last night again, man size to the series and if one is in good timing with respect to the foam in front, back support to get the nose and poof, it goes, not without getting a little stir, but the casing does the rest with some also technique.
Well, that little message just to motivate some may be undecided, which could be missing out on a great board and most importantly, ultra high-performance player at a time.
Small outdoor photo shoot for once I am fortunate that one me “shoot” but unfortunately the end of the session and burnt my day job (1h / 14h), so shoot shortened by fatigue shame because my 2 hours before sessions were really full of fun and busy waves.
