The Couine Marie Explorer features a generous width, providing the paddling comfort you need for long excursions. You can paddle for hours without getting tired. This width also makes it possible to be at ease in all conditions. If the water surface worsens as the wind picks up, you’ll be able to keep your balance and carry on.

Its length and streamlined nose will ensure excellent cruising speed, you’re cruising along for miles without even realizing it. The glide of this shape can be felt, and that’s what makes these moments so enjoyable. Its tail is wide enough to provide stability even when loaded with your adventurer’s luggage, which you can easily secure with our ELS (Expandable Load System). And it’s this tail that provides the lift needed to push you through waves and downwinds with ease.

Double safety

The double chamber of the Couine Marie Cruising Explorer is a real asset for long excursions, since it’s more rigid and safe.

This double chamber model offers extra security for backpackers. In case of damage to the main chamber, the second chamber will serve as a floating support while you make your way safely back to shore. This type of damage is extremely rare, but having a double chamber is what allows you to remain serene in all circumstances, and to push the adventure even further. This second chamber also considerably increases the board’s rigidity for optimal glide.
