GEAR: COUINE MARIE RACE FLAT WATER

For each model in our range, a dedicated category on our forum is fed by the members of the GONG community. You can read precise information on gear for which you have interest and advices like for example that of Aymeric for Porco who wonders if the Couine Marie Race would be a better choice for its practice on lake and channels than the Couine Marie Race Flat Water.

“The ‘normal’ version of the Couine Marie Race will react better in windy sessions with a lot of chop.

It is much easier than the Flat Water, especially when turning. The wide tail plus its rigid edge rail allows you to better turn around a buoy or to surf the swell in a downwind or the waves at the shore. If you are used to a SUP Race, the M will be adapted to your build and your experience. For use in lakes and on channels, it is better to orient yourself to the Flat Water. You will go faster because less water drag thanks to its narrower shape. ”
