GEAR: COMPATIBILITY OF THE PRO STABS WITH OUR FOIL RANGE!
This is a common question among our clients: Is there any point of upgrading my “classic” front wing with a stab from the Pro range?
The answer is YES, absolutely, and there’s a few reasons for that!!!
Before we even talk about what difference it makes on the water, the first gain can be felt on land with a significant weight difference. Thanks to the new carbon connection on the Pro stab, we have shortened the length of the aluminum fuselage. This translates to a 500g weight gain by switching from a set-up with a fuselage and a stabilizer from the classic range to one with the Pro fuselage coupled with a Pro stab!
Second gain, regardless of the model: the quality of the glide! The rear of the fuselage is so slim and streamlined that the drag is minimal. This huge improvement translates to a glide without any restraint and a much more intuitive entry in your turns.
The Pro stabs have more efficient and refined profiles than their big brothers in the classic range. They will further improve this feeling of freedom and speed of the foil.
Thanks to their powerful profile, the Fluid H Pro stabilizers always guarantee easy takeoffs and perfect pitching stability. Combining this stab to a “classic” Fluid front wing will enhance the playful nature and the fluidity of this front wing. Coupled with a Curve front wing, it will totally free up its glide and significantly increase its speed and responsiveness.
The Veloce H Pro stabs, ultra thin and more technical, have no speed limit except your commitment. With a Fluid T or Veloce T front wing, the feeling of speed will be crazy, as these front wings are already very fast with a classic stab. A simple way of optimizing the performance of your foil, while keeping your bearings.
In summary, changing your stab for a Pro stab will allow you to keep sailing on a front wing with a more moderate aspect ratio, for more accessibility and control, while gaining a lot in glide and speed.
As soon as your level is sufficient (jibing, tacks, beginning of carving), there is absolutely no reason not to upgrade your foil with a Pro Stab. You will literally rediscover your front wing!
If you want to keep a classic stab in your quiver, the carbon extension will allow you to use it with your new Pro fuselage while lightening your set-up.

Alors j’avais un peu de mal à y croire, pensant qu’on en faisait un peu trop avec les supposés bénéfices apportés par un stab plus perfo … résultat le stab fluid H42 est tout simplement le meilleur achat que j’ai fait depuis un bon moment !! utilisé avec curve Lt et Fluid Ls devant il m’a totalement débridé ces 2 ailes !! énorme gain niveau glisse, grosse sensation de douceur ! en grossissant le trait c’est un peu comme si j’avais enlevé les algues que je trainais auparavant ! Impossible de revenir en arrière … et contrairement aux ailes avant HA, un stab HA n’est pas beaucoup plus compliqué qu’un classique à prendre en main ou à décoller, un poil moins d’appui mais rien de limitant ni de trop technique tout se fait en douceur et sans soucis … mais qu’est ce que ça gliiiiiissseee !!
