New shape

With its sleeker shape in 2023 and its comfortable nose, the new Mint offers exceptional versatility. It sits halfway between a Flint which is a light wind gem and a Lemon designed to shred in the waves. As on a Flint, you benefit from great pre-flight comfort, in particular thanks to more vertical rails in 2023 which stabilize the board on the water. You’re locked on the water and the glide of its slender shape makes you take off with the slightest gust. It accelerates hard and its hydrodynamic tail frees you from the water in the blink of an eye. Qualities at take-off that translate into action-packed sessions to progress in wave riding, freestyle and freeride!

On the Mint you no longer fear to fall because you know that you’ll take off easily. As a result, you tend to adopt a conquering mindset on the water where each bump is an opportunity to try a trick and each wave a bowl to find new angles that its sharp shape allows you to dare.

Choose your construction in 2023 :

As for its new design, which is based on the artwork displayed on our custom boards produced in our workshop, the Mint enjoys a custom board type of construction with a full PVC sandwich tech. Because of its cost this technology is normally only found on custom boards. You need 12 hours of work for a full PVC sandwich construction while only 6 hours are enough to build a board without an integral sandwich, in particular because of the many steps carried out under vacuum to perfectly realize a full PVC sandwich.

Choosing this technology translates into boards of an incomparable durability and a dynamism that’s truly superior, thanks to the PVC shell that acts like a frame on your rails. The icing on the cake, the core material being high density PVC foam, such a board enjoys a 3mm hydrophobic layer which protects it from infiltration in the event of violent contact with a rock or a harness hook. In 2023, you have the option of choosing the Mint in FSP 2X or FSP Pro construction. These two full PVC sandwich constructions are distinguished by their outer layers of stratification. The first in fiberglass for the best weight / solidity / performance compromise on the market, the second in carbon fiber for the best dynamism and an incredible weight.
