FORUM : the Karmen PRO compared to the Curve PRO !!!

The Karmen is close to the Curve in the majority of her line. But I found two shortcomings in the Curve : – the thin nose that makes her unstable in choppy water and can cause faults in the take-off. – a tendency to be squirrely at high speeds which is linked to a tail that is overly maneuverable. By injecting some Zero into the Curve, I had reworked the nose in order to bring back forward stability. But I have added the grip of the Zeros tail into the Curve to create the Karmen. On the other hand the rocker is pure Shortboard rocker. Far from the Zero, and even far from the Cloud. The rocker is very much pronounced and actually the principal element that has allowed me to make a larger nose that doesn’t touch hate water at the end of a move.
We’re getting into the deep waters of high performance with this Board. This is not a Board for cushy mellow wave riding.
