FORUM : mother nature !!!

Hello,
The Rules have become indispensable, but before the Rules there was Nature.
Waves must be looked upon as a Gift from Nature to be fully appreciated. They’re not just vulgar ramps, but living energy which has traveled from far far away and is powerful, and just before they die they allow you to squeeze out vital, pure and insane fun.
Waves have the capacity to bind us with a world dynamic that very few activities allow us to feel such a hardcore bond.
In Brittany (Bretagne), I am Surfing the energy that comes out of the Sahara that has passed through the Caribbean, then Florida. A few days later it’s the energy from the Arctic that follows…
Imagine if you will the enormity of these movements, the massive displacement of air that it takes to blow a one meter wave towards us…
So before respecting the Rules, one must respect Nature and pay homage to it.
Screaming at the waves, insulting them, for example is possible the most ridiculous thing in the water. But we see it happen all the time.
So I think in addition to the Rules, everyone must integrate the sublimation of Nature into their Surfing.
For example :
– give a wave to someone whom is better positioned to exploit it, even if it is not priority or written on paper.
– speak with others in order to explain what is best to do, or not do, in order to have less resource (wave) waste.
– don’t scream at kids for snaking a wave unknowingly and just had the blast of their entire life.
– be as benevolent with the new ones whom understand the spirit as you are firm with the ones whom are painful to tolerate and share waves with.
– don’t have a big mouth on the peak.
– do not over-claim.
– do not waste waves at a spot from a stupid game of not respecting the Rules.
– don’t paddle for nothing on a wave, if you paddle do it to take off.
– don’t snake waves constantly on others with the intention of discouraging them.
etc, etc, etc…….
The Rules are there to regulate the conflicts between men, but Nature is above you all.
Outside of this, when the Surf rear its head and gets big, we immediately see how Nature re-organizes things and men without asking the Rules.
Thanks”
