FORUM : feedback on the kitefoil Allvator !!!

“First feedback for the Allvator Kite.
First of all my skill level : Beginner (outside of having previously had 2 sessions on the Hellvator with which I only got my butt kicked).
My first test began with some wind that was consistent but irregular, 12 to 20 knots with some water that was somewhat agitated (leftovers from the previous days gale). Pumped up my Draw 9m and I was off.
To be precise I mounted my Allvator with the Mast at 65cm. Making it easier to carry when walking back up the all terrain beach after losing wind and for water starts.
For starting out it’s a big plus. From the beginning I began to navigate flat and without the sensation of pulling an anchor under me as I did with the Hellvator.
After the second pass the Board began to lift slowly although I was cruising at a very low speed.
And with a quickness I really got flying after a couple hundred meters.
Return to reality was quick : got taken down hard.
The rest of the session was full of small flights (more or less mastered) and some good crashes.
My biggest difficulty : Managing the Kite, as if I was a beginner. I need to say that the Allvator is really tolerant : While I was up high and the Wing stated sticking out of the water she never kicked hard but calmly dipped back int he water.
It really let me get started in some light winds and that is reassuring.
