FORUM : feedback on Struted V1 !!!

“A quick feedback about my new 9m V1 Strutted, which I bought just before taking off for 9 days to Sri Lanka. More than 60 Hrs of use, in 2 types of conditions:
With my Foil I mounted it with a 69 cm Bar when it was light wind with 5m extensions (maybe not orthodox, but it works), it was perfect, I suddenly found in hand the same navigation I had with my 12m Strutless (and being honest, a Foil with the Strutless is incomparable), but with a hold even in the high range that was mind-blowing. One late morning I was still handling it well, while everybody else were on Surfboards and using 10m and the wind was slightly more than 18kts.
On TT between 18 & 25kts with a 49cm Bar, perfect range for the 9m, reassuring, stable, precise, perfect launching & super fast. My Freestyle skills are zero but I’m getting better so I can’t give any feedback in this aspect. Evidently I now understand what L’Ours was taking about concerning overpowering, its like the Strutless, you need to let this Kite live, it won’t work at all when jerking at the Bar ;). In conclusion, I couldn’t be happier with my investment. But maybe I should have got theV2, if anything for the choice of colors!! Pierre” Kiteboarder : Pierre en GONG Kite 9m Struted V1.
