FORUM : feedback on 5'2 Matata EPS !!!

“A little feedback on my session last night on my new Matata 5’2 EPS.
Lighter and not as wide as the 5’6, she fits perfectly under my arm for the transport.
In the water : while on the 5’6 I had to be more precise, on the 5’2 it was intuitive. While Paddling I advanced faster than with the 5’6. At that moment, without even taking a wave, I came to the conclusion that the 5’6 was a bit cumbersome and not necessarily adapted to my 63kg and/or for my usage.
At the Take-Off, I’m on it and lost nothing compared to the 5’6, and pow! Thinking I found the Rail to Rail on the 5’6 wicked, the 5’2 is mind-blowing and blasted out so much speed I could be called Aladdin and not Laurent, I was coasting from one section to another with serious maneuverability and not even on a Foil.
From the first wave my placement was good, no adapting time with this level.
On paper, yet again, I could make note that for my 63kg it was the 5’2 that I should have had from the start, but I was nervous due to its size… and just for your info, the 5’0 would have suited me as well.
