FORUM : feedback on 5'11 Pie EPS !!!

“First test : This Board is just magic….
Under the arm it already feels right, so easy to carry but once in the water I knew I was going to be happy quick.
In fact sliding your hand across the rail is as magical as when you put them into action on the wave.
Quite easy to paddle out in fact for a 5’11 and its shape serves its purpose.
The wide point is generous and allows for a sweet glide and has a low enough rocker up front to move around quickly in the line-up. With some clean, 80 cm waves, long and a bit hollow it was just perfect for putting the beast to the test.
She takes off easy but you need to put in some good strokes, but early take offs and a classical surf feeling.
On the wave she goes quick, real quick in fact and once you need to get through the sections that unravel before you and catch up to them it’s childs play….. let it slide… let it slide…
And shabang you can lay down a sweet top turn or a rail grab in a turn… whatever… And for the Pie to really slide out you need to do it on purpose.
So no panic, yes the twin goes fast, yes she’s maneuverable and finally yes she holds it together, as much in the bottom turn as the pumping the rails and even in the rollers. To sum it up, yet another success, and 2,7kg of sweetness.
For me this Board is a no brainer, super pretty But very performant for anyone who needs it, exactly my cup of tea.
