I ride the 8’5 for 70 kgs and this board is disconcertingly easy, almost too stable, it’s so easy, the board fits perfectly into the trajectory we want to give it from the take-off, it accelerates frankly and bottom turning with your back foot on the tail pad allows you radically turn towards the lip, in short, it’s a real treat to surf. The accelerations on the cut-back are frank even surprising compared to the 2021 model.The Zero 8’5 likes everything, even hollowness, it likes to be moved around, a real naughty one who never fails…..
Due to its stability, its displacement of the masses forward, the paddling up to the peak are very reassuring, the board enters well in the water and is very reactive to the support of the front foot. The chop? The current ? We don’t care with the Zero, everything is fine and we can go for XXL sessions. As for the smoother waves, the Zero turns into a real longboard and there, it’s also a treat, you can surf old-school and enter all the routines you want in the greatest comfort and with guaranteed sensations… It likes everything that is in the spirit of classic longboard surfing and the hang-ten is super easy even with a good wave size… In conclusion, the Zero 8’5 is the board which, whatever the conditions, will put a big smile on your face, will allow you to evolve, to gain in performance and sensations.”
