FEEDBACK: YPRA-S, THE “BEST ALLROUND FRONT WING”!
Trying the Ypra S for the first time is a true revelation in terms of glide and efficiency for foilers of an intermediate level and above.
A multi-world champion front wing across all disciplines (Surf-Freestyle, Race and Big Air) which remains very accessible. As Ilja points out in his feedback, if you are able to fly with a Fluid L-T, you are more than capable of flying this front wing. Versatility at the highest level that is accessible to a majority.

“The Ypra-S L 1000cm2 is the best allround front wing I’ve tried so far. It does everything well, tracks upwind superbly, can be pumped up easily, low stall speed, stable, carves very nicely as it keeps the glide well and is very efficient between the gusts.
I’m 90kg but this is probably the biggest size I need for gusty lake conditions. Topspeed with aluminum mast 42km/h so far (pushing quite hard), maybe a bit more is possible with carbon mast, but cruising speed is easily 30-35kmh, with aluminum mast. Together with Pulse 5.0 and a harness it’s 👌. The only thing I don’t like is the sharp wingtips and trailing edge. Other than that, great front wing! If you can ride a Fluid L-T, you can easily ride this as well!”

J’ai la ypra S en taille M et je la trouve génial.
Pour mes 67kg, je la sors à partir de 18 noeuds et dans le clapot, elle est juste magique.
Ça file tout droit et on a l’impression de naviguer sur du flat, et elle ne décroche jamais. Et dans les manœuvres, avec de la vitesse ça tourne tout seul.
Et finalement, elle est plutôt facile.
