FEEDBACK: YPRA

Valentin had the opportunity to test the Veloce M-H and the Ypra, our high aspect foil dedicated to speed. He shares his feedback and other qualities related to high aspect foils.
“I’m in love with this Ypra M!?
Well, to be fair, the Veloce M-H has better qualities for jumping! Can’t wait to pair it with the Neutra 2023.
Between the Veloce M-H and the Ypra M, the Veloce is much more accessible, a magic front wing but which remains a little notch below, it is also possibly due to my featherweight size (46kg). Landings are much simpler with the Veloce. Don’t be fooled, the Veloce H are not beginner’s wings at all.
In transition the Veloce forgives bad positioning more easily and has a better low range. If you extend the downwind phase too long, you can still recover your wing at the last moment with very little speed ?.In jumping the Veloce is crazy like the Ypra, the difference will be at the landing.
Landing and taking off straight away with the Ypra is not easy (or I have to learn how to do it well). In Veloce it’s still “pretty simple”. Regarding top speed we will talk about it again when I have received the Neutra, currently I have a 4m which I find not appropriate and a 5m where I don’t like the front handle. For Veloce T fans, the Veloce H is the logical follow-up to your desires (or even the Ypra too).
Take-off level, my opinion is that the H range takes off at the same time as the “standard” models, the T takes off slightly earlier.”
