“The evolution of its shape brings a much more noticeable On / Off feeling when it goes to neutral, it’s more effective.

The thinner but just as rigid handles are very pleasant in the hand, it’s not a point that bothered me on the V1 but I appreciate this gain in comfort without any loss.

“The piloting very smooth and super comfortable”

Once in the hands, there is a perfect balance between the front hand and the rear hand, which makes the piloting very smooth and super comfortable. You are always in control, it gives you the confidence to master your wing to exploit it 100%.

At the start in flight, the pumping is ultra efficient, the gain in the low range is clear. The fact that it has more V naturally keeps the ears away from the surface, which significantly reduces the risk of contact. It’s a generational leap in pumping, that’s clear.

Once in flight, the wing offers continuous power without being surprised or overwhelmed. We feel that it is the pilot who has control with a reserve of acceleration with the rear hand. It can easily speed up if needed. That’s what surprised me the most, its ability to go fast, with a Fluid L-S, I was going faster than windsurfers and never losing flight in the ind holes. A wing that can really be taken far in Freeride and Freerace.

In surfing, its transition to neutral is very fast which allows you to engage faster and earlier in the wave. You can move on faster and focus more on your surfing by forgetting your wing. At the end of the wave, you recover your torque to go back to the peak with a good heading / speed compromise. We immediately find the right course in a very natural and fluid way.

For maneuvers in flat, the fact that it is a clear On / Off, it helps in backwind sailing with an easier to find neutral point. In freestyle, it’s a wing that is relevant and that already allows you to do a lot of maneuvers.

In the jibes and in the turns, it helps a lot in the pivot phases of the board because it follows our movements very naturally, it gives confidence.

For jumps, it allows you to gain more speed by accelerating in the pop to initiate the jump and it offers good lift. You go faster, higher and you stay in the air longer, which allows you to give yourself more time to properly prepare your landing. To sum up, it’s a super versatile wing that offers nothing but gain in all respects. A superb upgrade that does not limit our progress whatever the program.
