FEEDBACK: WING NEUTRA 3M

Our ambassador François put himself in good conditions to test the (very) low range of his 3m 😉 He shares his feedback with us.

“I had the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone with a wing 😉 I arrived at the spot and realized that I got the wrong bag. My bag read “3 meters Neutra” 😉 … And there’s only 15/17 knots. I did seriously hesitate for a while. I was very disappointed at the time. A friend motivated me by telling me that after all, if it doesn’t work out, the worst that could happen is to be pissed off.

Ok you’re right, let’s go! With Neutra 3m, Lethal 5’1, Fluid XL 1500 and stab Fluid 43. The wind was blowing at 15/17 knots for 3/4 of the session then at about 16/20 at the end. At the end of the day I flew for the whole session… I was super impressed.

“The comfort in navigation was so good.”

Apparent wind was created by pumping with the wings : arms and legs… I was even picking up a very good speed and heading upwind very well. It took me 17 knots to take off. And the 3m / Fluid XL combo is really great. It glides and suddenly the 3m is completely forgotten when surfing the wave bumps. It does not take the wind, it does not brake me in the curves.

Really good session, I’m happy to have given it a try and prove to myself that you shouldn’t listen to preconceived ideas. In any case, you have to test for yourself and draw your own conclusions. This session was a real success and I left the spot convinced and surprised at the same time, especially for my 86 kg. To be repeated even if it’s physically more demanding! ”
