FEEDBACK: WING NEUTRA 2022

Feedback of the Neutra by Marion on our forum who makes some interesting parallels with her experience in windsurfing.
“The Neutra has evolved really well. It was not one of my favorites wings before, a question of taste and feeling specific to each person I guess, but this evolution made me change my mind.
- More stable in a straight line (less nervous), especially in strong winds.
- The thinner handles are very nice. For my part, I prefer them in the light wind, on the other hand in the stronger wind, I prefer the slightly thicker, padded handles (again, a question of feeling. In windsurfing slalom, I had booms as thin as possible for big sails, and thicker ones for smaller ones (except in waves, where thin booms are mandatory).
The maneuverability is crazy! A real toy
In terms of power, there is more on the front hand. Again, I’m going to compare it to windsurfing where I prefer a sail with balanced power on both hands. On the other hand, in wing foiling, when you are underpowered, this forward power is very useful for taking off, it helps to propel yourself (In windsurfing, in the big 8.6 slalom type of sails, I was on 3-cam sails instead of 4 cams. All my other sails in 4 but not the biggest ones. Meaning more hollow forward on those sails, it helped me enormously to get going as early as possible, especially in 7 knots. This feeling of being pulled forward really helped).
In wing, with the Neutra, I find the same feeling. I use it and appreciate it especially in 5m² (which is my biggest sail for my size of 1m70, 65kg) and in 3m².
The Neutra allows me to under-power. At the slightest gust, it takes off like a champagne cork!”
