Tonight, superb sunset session in La Baule (north-east wind). The day before the wind was more north east and therefore more side. Impossible to kite tonight, so I went out a Wing. Attention it’s almost off but there is a drop point with all the tip downwind. Measuring the risk and having a plan B in side offshore is important I think. I headed out anyways, not fully convinced: not too much wind at the edge, irregular wind and force difficult to estimate. With the 7m Pulse Foil XL PRO and Flint 5’6. The power of the 7m is really great, the difference with the 5m is huge (I just got out of 4 days of Wing so I felt the differences). I remained cautious with my course a bit and after 20 minutes, no nasty surprises, I kept my starting point on course. Of course I didn’t fly at times, but a little patience and a few laughing stock moments and then I was off again. The lulls went well and for the return to the beach: 200m of pumping and it’s good. In 4 days, 2 days on the river and 2 days in side offshore while with a Kite it would have been 0 sessions or maybe a little average on May 13th.
