Feedback from Pierre on our forum who added a Droid V1 to his quiver last summer and of which there are still a few sizes in stock at great prices! Here is his feedback.

“The Droid 4m is a great wing. I bought it this summer. Used it for 10 days in Crete in very irregular wind. With my 85kg and my HIPE 5’3 at the time, I started with 15-17 knots and could hold it until very strong winds (30-35 knots) but not fun then. I also used it twice in the North Sea.

The advantage of this wing is its compactness, you can pump very efficiently without the risk of touching the water with the tips of the wing. It is super comfortable. I changed regularly between the 2 rear handles: the furthest back to start and the other for long tacks. It is light and balanced in the hands with great handling due to its compactness. Powerful to start, it also holds up well in strong winds.

It made me take a lot of distance with my 6m from another brand which it complemented very well I think. I have also recommended it to many people around me because it is really suitable for many practitioners (beginners as well as experts).”
