Thanks to Pascal for his detailed feedback following the purchase of an Allround wing pack consisting of the Flint 5’8, Neutra V2 5m and the Curve XL-T. Do not hesitate to share your impressions which feed the development of our products! 😉

Wing foiler: Mathieu, GONG team rider, with the Flint FSP Pro and Neutra 2022 Black Edition.

“83kg, 183cm, 54 years old, currently “jibing level” (before this purchase I had a “stabilized flight level” but not jibing). I sail on a lake, so with light wind.

Super happy with my purchase for which I followed the online advice of Gaby (Technical Advisor at GONG), do not hesitate to describe your profile to them and they will advise you very well (despite my endless questions, lol)

The Neutra V2 5m

It is great for what represents strong winds on my spot (=16 knots lol). It depowers really well, it’s on/off with this wing. Obviously less bulky than my SuperPower 7.5 for jibing. A tiny problem with the inflation valve was fixed within 3 days by the GONG After Sales Service. Great response and reactivity. I equipped my 2 wings with a harness line to sail with a harness. I love it. It’s super comfortable for my old arms and you can wave to friends when you meet them (essential). All homemade because it was out of stock at GONG.

The Curve XL-T

is the perfect step forward for me. There was almost no transition time to my first beginner foil which pushed a lot of water (but essential for the lift when learning). Well designed bag and I also manage to store the pump in it.

The Flint 5’8

I used to sail an inflatable 140 liters board and the transition to 110 liters took me 1-2 sessions. Stable enough to wait for the gust, that’s what I needed.

In short, thank you GONG and I will develop this material according to my progression… I am thinking about a Fluid XXL-T foil ?”
