FEEDBACK: VELOCE HDW

Tom took a bold step by trying the Veloce HDW in a size significantly smaller than what he was used to for SUP Foil Downwind.

SUP foiler: Malo, GONG team rider, using a Cruzader Point FSP Pro, Veloce HDW setup, and a Bodyguard T-shirt.
Less effort to maintain speed
"Big success, big smile ! Okay, it may not seem amazing, but for me, it's fantastic. At 95kg, I downsized my downwind foil from 1850cm² (Curve H) to 1050cm² (Veloce H DW), and after three tough sessions, I’m flying! And consistently, too, multiple times.
Moreover, this Veloce HDW L, once it's up and running, requires less effort to maintain because it goes faster and really helps me optimize my line to find energy without spending too long in transition."
Gliding on the swell
"Well, there's still room for improvement, but having also used it assisted by a wing, I know I can glide on the swell for a long time once it's well launched.
After a few doubtful sessions, I'm starting to think I finally made the right size choice, especially since my ideal weight is around 90kg, so when I reach that, it'll be even better.
For 20 knots, it's perfect. We'll see what the minimum wind is for this setup with my Cruz 7'0 XL... By the way, I love my yellow Bodyguard shirt!"
