FEEDBACK: SUP ZERO FSP PRO 9’0

Longboard type SUPs like long waves but the Zero’s extreme maneuverability combined with its speed allows you to take advantage of almost any condition as Coolas explains on our forum.

“Tiny waves this morning, so small that even my ultra-optimistic friend didn’t see any waves… Usually he finds everything surfable, even the worst conditions. And yet, 500m further south, I had a great time with the Zero 9‘0. It may be a board that likes good conditions, but it really gets going easily in the soft conditions if you keep the nose close to the water.

Normally I would have taken another board for these conditions, but it was very multipic, and the Zero allows you to take off from far on shifty peaks, and to connect the sections on a mellow wave.

One thing that I felt this morning, something that I had not yet felt on any longboard or SUP before, is that when the board starts to slow down at the nose, and you can feel the fins – I’m on a thruster set up – stalling, it only takes to make the rail slice into the face with the rear foot to have a kick ass acceleration which suddenly re-engages the fins. Only the Zero gave me this transformation of the rail grip into speed gain. My new fins surely helped, but it’s clearly the shape of the board that has a little magic touch… ”
